Onajite Mary Uchefuna

Managing Director

Onajite Mary Uchefuna is the Managing Director of Green Crescent Engineering Bureau Limited, providing strategic leadership, corporate governance oversight, and operational control across the Company’s engineering, energy, water, real estate, and infrastructure businesses. She brings over 15 years of progressive management and administrative experience, with deep expertise in internal control, financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and organizational development. Her professional career is anchored by long-term service as Internal Control Manager with Kadick Integrated Limited (an MTN Trade Partner), where she led internal audits, enterprise risk assessments, budgetary control, asset management, fraud prevention, and compliance monitoring. In this role, she worked closely with senior management, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to strengthen governance frameworks, prevent financial and operational risks, and ensure strict adherence to statutory and corporate standards. She has also held key management roles as Administration Manager at Bensta Hotels, Clinic Manager at Innovative Medical Services, and Administrator/Assistant Bursar at Holy Rosary International College, gaining broad experience in human resources management, procurement, budgeting, facilities management, service delivery oversight, and policy implementation across hospitality, healthcare, and education sectors. In addition to her senior leadership experience in Nigeria, Onajite Mary Uchefuna has gained international commercial exposure in Canada, having worked with The Brick Warehouse LP, a national retail organization. This experience strengthened her understanding of structured corporate operations, customer engagement, performance accountability, and compliance within a regulated international business environment, complementing her governance and administrative leadership background. Academically, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Second Class Upper) and a National Certificate in Education (Merit). She has further completed Management and Administration studies with the University of Manitoba, Canada, reflecting a strong commitment to continuous professional development and international best practices. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria, and the Institute of Personnel Management. As Managing Director, Onajite Mary Uchefuna provides strategic direction, financial discipline, governance leadership, and organizational control, ensuring that Green Crescent Engineering Bureau Limited operates with integrity, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability. Nwokedi Uchefuna

Project Director

Nwokedi Uchefuna is a highly accomplished engineering and QHSE leader with over 17 years of international experience delivering complex infrastructure, water treatment, energy, and oil & gas projects across Nigeria, Iraq, Oman, the UAE, Bangladesh, Vietnam, India, China, and Cambodia. He currently serves as Project Director of Green Crescent Engineering Bureau Limited, where he provides strategic leadership across engineering delivery, safety governance, environmental compliance, renewable energy, water infrastructure, and sustainable development initiatives. Professionally trained as a physicist and seasoned through some of the world’s most demanding industrial projects, Nwokedi has held senior leadership roles on mega-projects exceeding USD 600 million in combined value, including the Gandharbpur 500 MLD Water Treatment Plant in Bangladesh, Sharjah Waste-to-Energy Project, ADNOC surface facilities, Sohar Refinery Improvement Project, and the XL-02 Nhieu Loc–Thi Nghe Wastewater Treatment Plant in Ho Chi Minh City. His leadership has consistently delivered zero-fatality outcomes, including the landmark achievement of 8 million safe man-hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI) in Bangladesh Nwokedi brings deep expertise in engineering project management, occupational health and safety systems, environmental monitoring, commissioning safety, SIMOPS, and high-risk construction environments. He has led multidisciplinary teams under global contractors such as VINCI Construction Grands Projets, Acciona, SUEZ, BUTEC, CNIM, Samsung Engineering, Maire Tecnimont, Daelim-Petrofac, and Daewoo, working with international financiers including the World Bank, ADB, AFD, and EIB Academically grounded with a B.Sc. in Applied Physics (Electronics) and professionally certified with the NEBOSH International Diploma, NEBOSH International General Certificate (Distinction), ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualifications, and ProQual Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice, Nwokedi combines technical depth with regulatory rigor and strong governance capability As Project Director of Green Crescent Engineering Bureau Limited, he is driving the company’s expansion across engineering services, water and borehole development, LPG infrastructure, real estate support services, and renewable energy solutions, positioning the company as a credible contributor to Nigeria’s infrastructure growth, water security, energy access, and carbon-reduction objectives.
